The subject of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women & Girls fails to get the attention it deserves. Facts show that Native American women and girls are twice as likely to be assaulted than any other race and their third leading cause of death is injury. And out of nearly 6000 missing and murdered cases just shy of two hundred are in the national law enforcement databases. We need to do something about this epidemic. The nation’s highways, inner-city Native American communities, and Indian reservations have become our killing fields. This fictionalized account shows the obstacles tribal police face when dealing with such atrocities. Our mothers, sisters, daughters, and granddaughters are being murdered or go missing and the only people looking for them are their survivors by way of social media accounts and ground searches. This is the tale of tribal Detective Sargeant Jessica Stone and her oftentimes partner FBI Special Agent Casey Borgreve.
